Elizabeth Blanchard, licensed Massage Therapist & Physical Therapist Assistant

Hello and welcome!  I am a York, Maine native, a licensed Massage Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant. I earned a BA in Psychology from Utica College in New York prior to studying massage therapy at the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  While providing therapeutic massage to patients and staff at York Hospital I completed a Physical Therapist Assistant degree program at North Shore Community College.  My fourteen years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy influences my practice approach which is strong in musculoskeletal anatomy, physiology and injury rehabilitation.  A long-time yoga student, I completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training with Yoga on York in 2012.  I incorporate the self-care principles of yoga into my life and massage therapy practice.  My treatment philosophy is to offer you a comfortable space in which to provide personalized care, relief from tension and pain, reduce stress, and promote your body's natural healing ability.
